Summer Camps
Our summer camp is based in Champéry, a little village in the midst of the Alps with the largest ski and mountain bike domain in Europe. It is designed for the students of our school as well as for young people from 9 to 18 from all over the world.
Summer time is the moment to entrust us with your children during a part of the long summer holiday, knowing that they will be well taken care of and that the range of available activities will fill their need to move and let off steam.
We organize 22 periods of French or English lessons per week. Classes are kept small – between 4 to 7 students – to allow the teacher to offer an individualised programme. Students stay in a hotel ideally situated in the heart of Champéry, in very nice rooms with 2 beds. Afternoons and weekends are dedicated to sports activities and excursions.
The camp is located at Hôtel Suisse in Champéry, a beautiful village surrounded by mountains in Valais in Switzerland. The hotel, built in the art of the former Swiss houses, has been completely renovated and boasts the warm and friendly atmosphere typical of Swiss chalets. The 2-bed rooms – complete with private bathroom – offer a quiet respite after the excitement of the activities of the day and the broad, open spaces in the common rooms enjoying a breathtaking view.
Ski Camps
– Ski camp for Primary classes
From Monday, 22nd until Friday 26th, February 2021 at Saanenmöser (Gstaad)
This camp welcomes 42 children from the Primary classes 2, 3 and 4 (from 7 years old to 9 years old). Throughout the day, it offers ski lessons and other winter activities (sleighing and snowman making).
Participants are split up in groups of 6 students at the most. During the whole week, each group is under the supervision of a teacher.
The camp is also open to children who are not enrolled in the Ecole Nouvelle. The price is CHF 1’200.- full-board, ski pass, ski lessons, evening activities and 24/7 care.
– Ski camp for Middle and Senior School classes
From Sunday, 14th until Saturday 20th, February 2021 at Les Crosets
This camp welcomes 80 children, and is open to the students of classes 5 to 12/IB (from 10 years old to 18 years old). Throughout the day it offers ski lessons at any level (beginner, medium or advanced), as well as preparation for the ADISR slaloms competition.
Participants are split up in groups of 10 students at the most. During the whole week, each group is under the supervision of an ENSR teacher.
The camp is also open to students who are not enrolled in the Ecole Nouvelle. The price is CHF 1’400.- including full-board, ski pass, ski lessons, evening activities and
Windsurf Camps
From Saturday, 27th June until Sunday, 12th July, 2020
Since 2003, ENSR has run an exciting windsurf summer camp in different parts of the world.
So far, we have discovered Hyères (South of France), Bonaire (Netherlands Antilles), Fuerteventura (Canary Islands, Spain), Dahab (Egypt), Rhodes (Greece), Paros (Greece) and Sardinia (Italy).
During these windsurf camps, our students discover windsurfing, and other sports such as paddle-boarding and beach-volley.
We also organise cultural excursions and other experiences.
Far away from school, students benefit from unforgettable moments in a foreign country, guided by teachers from Ecole Nouvelle, and acquire new experiences that will be useful for them on the road towards independence and maturity.
This camp is open to students from the age of eleven (classes 5 to 12/IB)
Having previous windsurfing experience is not necessary as daily lessons are given for any level.
