The King’s School Canterbury International College
The College focuses on educating international students, aged 13-17, preparing them for entry into an appropriate senior school for their further studies in Year 10 or Year 12. The curriculum and pedagogy are very modern but based upon firm historical foundations.
The College is a global community and welcomes international students of any nationality, ethnicity, and religious background. There is wheelchair access to all teaching and social areas. Pastoral care is of the highest standard.
We expect our students to engage totally with what we have to offer. In turn we shall be aiming to ensure that all our students leave the College not only ready to enter a mainstream English-speaking curriculum, but feeling that they have been challenged and excited by the experience.
The King’s Family of Schools
With an educational history going back to 597 CE, The King’s School, Canterbury, is the oldest school in the UK and possibly in Europe. It currently educates pupils from 3-18 in two separate and linked schools: The King’s School, Canterbury and The Junior King’s School, Canterbury.
The International College is the latest member of this historic King’s family. Students will be part of that history but receive an education that is genuinely equipping them for the future.
